About PuckPoint

PuckPoint started with a question every hockey family asks on the way to an away game: is there food at this rink, and if not, where do we eat? Then come the rest. How cold are the stands? Where do we park on a tournament Saturday? The stick just broke, so where is the nearest pro shop that is open?

Rinks' own websites rarely answer those questions, so we put the answers on one page per rink. Facts come from the rink's website, from parents who have been there, and from our own visits, and each one says where it came from and when it was last confirmed. Restaurants, hotels, hockey shops and urgent care nearby are listed with the drive from the rink.

We list youth hockey clubs from the leagues' public team lists, by birth-year age group, so a family new to the sport can see which clubs field a team for their child. Tournaments come from the sanctioned lists published by USA Hockey's affiliates.

We started in New England and are adding regions as the pages fill in. If you run a rink, a club or a business near a rink, get in touch.
